Full Moon is the ideal time to create a ritual for letting go of things, people habits or anything that no longer serves purpose in your life. This is based on the concept that as the moon wanes, the things you want to release will diminish.
This Full Moon is ruled by Pisces. What exactly does that mean? Well each Full and New moon are ruled by an astrological sign which lends its traits to the energy and vibration we experience during the moon phase. These traits can be both positive and negative aspects of the astrological sign. It’s important to understand that both traits are important to reflect upon. By doing a ritual with these energies in mind, you allow yourself to work with the moon to manifest the change you want to see in your life.
Pisces brings a creative, imaginative and emotional energy during this Moon. Take this time to enjoy reading, writing, creating art or music. Relaxing, daydreaming and exploring any emotions that may arise.
On the flip side, Pisces can bring heavy emotions, depression and escapism. This could be a time that triggers deep emotions we have not dealt with. Be mindful to reflect and try not to slip into practices of self-medication with food, alcohol or anything that may promotes escaping our emotions rather than trying to heal them.
This is the ideal time to take a step back, check in with your emotions and practice a bit of self-care. Be gentle, be kind and love yourself because you deserve it!
I totally understand if this sounds way too hippy dippy but hear me out. At the end of the day even if you don’t believe in astrology or moon rituals, this is an opportunity to focus on intention, growth and self-reflection. These can be powerful tools that can help release or manifest anything. Essentially, it’s a chance to reflect, take stock of changes you would like to make and set those intentions.
I’ve personally found that doing full moon and new moon rituals have brought about many wonderful changes in my life. This is something I enjoy practising regularly. It allows me to set intentions and shift stagnant energy to promote change.

What you will need:
Piece of paper
Take a piece of paper and write down anything that you wish to let go of in your life. It could be a negative habit, health issue, emotions towards something or someone. This is also helpful if you're working through an emotional time. Just write down the emotions the you're feeling and that you wish to release.
Once you’re finished writing it down; fold the paper and hold it in your hands. Visualize the thing/person/emotions leaving your life, imagine yourself releasing it and feeling good. Take the paper and burn it. After, wash your hands or take a shower, maybe go for a walk. Do anything that you feel is cleansing.
